剧情介绍
名声大噪的神枪手简（简·拉塞尔 Jane Russell 饰）被州长从监狱里秘密放出，作为获得赦免的条件，简接受了一项卧底任务。她要前往迪尔费尔德保找一个名叫吉姆的男人，与他假扮成夫妻，秘密接近非法倒卖军火的印第安人。可是，当简抵达了目的地后才发现，吉姆早已经暴露了身份，遭到了杀害，这也就意味着她的身份也曝光了，果不其然，简很快就遭到了敌人的追杀。
在误打误撞之中，简跳上了牙医波特（鲍勃·霍普 Bob Hope 饰）的马车，不忍心看到漂亮的姑娘落难，波特决定向简伸出援手。最终，两人不仅躲过了追杀，逮捕了罪犯，还在此过程中碰撞出了爱情的火花。 Someone is selling guns to the Indians and in order to find the culprit Calamity Jane and a secret agent go undercover posing as man and wife. When the agent is killed Jane recruits a new husband -- none other than innocent dupe "Painless" Peter Potter, a totally inept dentist and confirmed coward who's main goal is to leave the barbaric west far behind. When their wagon train is attacked by the Indians it's Jane's sharpshooting that saves the day, but she gives the credit to Potter making him an instant hero to the townspeople and instant target to both the Indians and the gunrunners.

西部味儿十足的喜剧片，鲍勃·霍普一个人单抗这部电影，简·拉塞尔不但戏份较少，穿的更多。
有些桥段确实挺搞笑的，简拉塞尔好适合演侠女 可惜在里面打戏太少了

足够有趣但不那么高明的出色电影
哈哈，终于明白《被解放的姜哥》里的牙医梗是从哪里来的了。很欢乐的片子，感觉像迪斯尼米老鼠的冒险系列。从那个年代起，选择脸部线条方硬的女性来饰演女杀手就成了惯例。虽然棚拍的痕迹还是很明显，动作替身也挺明显的，但是并不影响这片子的娱乐性。

男主的喜剧表演固然精彩，但简拉赛尔这个角色还是明显被浪费了。故事是女强男弱的伪英雄模板，现在我们也看过不少类似作品，但当时这片应该还是挺新鲜的。最喜欢就是男主亲吻后总被敲晕，倒下之前那句“你亲得可真够劲”。75
要被男主角笑死了，这种风格的喜剧风格应该是之前好莱坞之前没有出现过的，主角更加放得开、神经质，抛弃了点到即止的绅士作态，又不同于卓别林和基顿风格的喜剧，更趋向于现在的喜剧作品。挺好看的一部片子，可能一点点的小瑕疵就是男女主角有点不太合拍。
