感恩节到了，白人女孩四月（凯蒂•霍尔姆斯 Katie Holmes 饰）在黑人男友巴比（德瑞克•卢克 Derek Luke 饰）的劝说下，终于鼓足勇气邀请她的家人共进晚餐。然而，家人对于这个约定却各怀心事，原因是四月曾经的叛逆行为令他们望而生畏。这时，父亲吉姆（奥利弗•普莱特 Oliver Platt 饰）还是积极招呼全家前往，但是在路上母亲乔伊（派翠西娅•克拉克森 Patricia Clarkson 饰）对此冷嘲热讽，希望取消这次聚会……

Meanwhile, in a suburb of Pennsylvania, her dysfunctional family is preparing to travel to New York. While driving, the relationship between the Burns and their black-sheep April is disclosed through the conversations between her father Jim, her resented mother Joy, her brother, her sister and her grandmother.

不懂为什么要用纪录片的拍法加情景喜剧的表演
四月应在碎片中，就像结尾理应在温暖中徐徐闭合，黑幕前几下闪烁。四月周围的一切都无法合拢，踏步有歪扭的物件、陡然的钉子，所遇的人不友好反射出不友好，坚硬服装，凌厉身形，事件和邻居纷纷被碰撞落下，但在那些之前，有一个柔软的早晨。今日前是一路的崎岖，感恩之日，人们之间得到暂时的解决，今后也许会糟，也许很好，也许就像预料中的那样坏，也许还会来到一个时刻，宁静甜美。

资源非常难找，终于找到了，就像四月碎片，ost 非常好听，人物刻画非常细腻
