某天，托马斯（Bernard Letrou 饰）、马克和布丽切特（Solange Pradel 饰）三个年轻人来到法国某个乡村，他们此行的目的是寻访当地一个流传已久的传说。相传在法国路易十五时期，当地出现四个吸血鬼姐妹。四姐妹美艳非常，却残酷冷血。男人们与吸血鬼姐妹进行斗争，最后反被悉数遇害。不过，其中一个女吸血鬼还曾被村民强暴。托马斯他们并不相信这个传言，在他们看来，那四个女孩可能是患有某种病症的人类……
本片是法国僵尸片导演让•洛林（Jean Rollin）的首部长片，亦被其称为法国第一部僵尸电影。影片原本是40分钟的短片，为便于院线放映，让•洛林按照发行放的要求重新补拍了后面的部分。 This low budget first film from director Jean Rollin is in reality two very loosely-connected, surreally erotic shorts about vampirism. In the first, three Parisians including a psychoanalyst try to convince four neurotic sisters living in a decaying country chateau that their belief that they are 200 year old vampires is false. The alluring young women are influenced and controlled by a enigmatic disembodied voice which turns out to be the an aging, aristocratic lord of the manor, whose motives are unclear but clearly perverse. Local rustics unite to hunt down and kill the sanguine siblings. In the second, the Queen of the Vampires and her acolytes arrive on the scene, resurrect the dead, and promulgate the cause of the Undead while a medical researcher works to find an antidote to vampirism.

让·洛林的风格依旧独特，你甚至可以说他的视觉风格是独一无二这种的，那些跳切处理的海边镜头就像是戈达尔重拍了《第七封印》（不过我怀疑让洛林是真抄了《第七封印》）。还有他喜欢的透明长纱衣服，那个吸血鬼女王的露乳装要笑死我了。剧情就很尴尬了，因为跳切用了挺多，镜头切着切着就跳出来一个新角色，都不知道是干嘛的，看的我头疼，故事大略是吸血鬼女王旗下诸位的争风吃醋加带新人，加了太多莫名其妙狂欢啊陶醉啊的情绪镜头，让·洛林可能又是把自己的一个春梦拍出来了，不过这个梦本身没什么逻辑，他好像也忘了不少情节，看上去就特碎特傻的一个东西
忽略第二部分的话，前40分钟的迷离摇曳真的是杰作啊。

让洛林最好的两部电影之一，另一部是菩提树下死，能几十年如一日提炼b级片那些要素，也算是种匠人精神吧。
狂欢式吸血鬼电影，没什么情节，也不太新浪潮，就是片名比较牛逼。
光天化日下的海边吸血鬼
据说这是法国第一部关于吸血鬼的电影，确实是一部法式味道的吸血鬼故事，拍摄台词和表演剪辑都延续法国电影一项的大胆前卫，让人摸不着头脑的优良作风。不走商业路线，就走小众独享。
气氛，服装，音乐都很有风格。第二部分开始时一切都有了欣喜。
原来后面是补拍的，其实前面第一部分还挺好，构图挺有感觉。

看黑白的电影真的要很集中精神，加上画面质量差，又是法语，很吃力。
烂啊啊啊，我不明白了就死了怎么就又复活，看了其他的评论才知道是又加的一部分= =然后就是奇怪的宗教仪式还有嬉皮小丑等。。。总之无语了
女主角变吸血鬼后 明显漂亮了
