Sakbé is a young Tzeltal girl who lives with her grandmother, Wanuch, in the heart of the Chiapas Highlands. She aspires to become a healer like her grandmother one day. When the people in her village start losing their lab (animal companions), Sakbé embarks on an adventure to uncover the secrets of her ch’ulel (soul) and save the future of her community
