剧情介绍
本片呈现了二战时期欧洲各个皇室家族面对日益强大的民族主义政党时所采取的策略。由于家族关系的连结，他们目睹了法西斯和纳粹主义的崛起，同时发现他们在身不由己的情形下便处于了希特勒政治阴谋的中心。两集内容讲述了多个家族和这种可怕而又强大力量含糊不清却又剪不断的往来关系，在长久的拖延下，当战争最终爆发之时，每个家族都必须为他们的国家做出决定：是战争还是合作？
