When old rockers Hired Gun reform to play a gig at the Midsomer Rocks Festival, paranoid lead singer Gary Cooper is convinced someone is trying to warn them off. First rock diva Mimi Clifton is electrocuted on stage, then drummer Nicky Harding is found dead in the swimming pool. Barnaby has to face the possibility that one of his rock 'n' roll heroes is a murderer.

Jones知道Cully和那个乐队经理搞上之后说要离开town的表情太戳我的笑点了。。。故事主线和支线连接的还不错，不过我猜到自导自演了，一般的推理剧原则就是意外没死即真凶wwww这集我老觉得和之前哪个剧有既视感，好像是幻术大师？有一集也是摇滚乐队这种故事。摇滚啊。
本集是Cully日后丈夫Simon首次亮相，虽然凶手身份和障眼法都没什么新的地方，但这种复仇故事还是比较感人的，经纪人失踪的支线也比较有意思，其他亮点在于Barnaby本人就是音乐迷以及那个似疯实醒的女孩。
