Karine, femme de ménage, partage sa vie entre son travail de nuit avec ses collègues et Ziggy, son fils de 17 ans. Lorsque l'entreprise qui l'emploie est rachetée tout bascule pour Karine. La pression sociale va la pousser dans ses retranchements et la mettre face à un dilemme : dévoiler un secret ou mentir pour se protéger.
Karine, a housekeeper of 34, is the full-time mother of 17 year-old Ziggy. When the company that employed her is taken over, subject to the laws of capitalism, Karine will have to choose between being true to herself, or lie to protect herself and her family.
