年前的科学家塞斯（杰夫•高布伦 Jeff Goldblum 饰）刚刚发明一台能传送物体的“电动传送机”，这台机器能将物体分解，传送完成后再自动合成还原。兴奋不已的塞斯决定亲自体验一下电动传送，于是，他进入了传送仓。不幸的是，一只苍蝇这时也飞进了传送仓，于是，在机器将分解后的塞斯的分子再合成时，将苍蝇的分子也合成到了塞斯的体内。塞斯成了拥有一半苍蝇基因的蝇人。
起初，塞斯的身体就像蜘蛛侠一样变得强壮和精力旺盛，他的女友维罗尼卡（吉娜•戴维斯 Geena Davis 饰）根本不相信男友的鬼话。但是，随着塞斯的身体迅速的渐渐老去，身体开始长毛，牙齿脱落，浑身冒浆，维罗尼卡渐渐接受了这个事实。她并没有遗弃男友，而是和他一起平静的接受了这个事实，即使他变得血肉模糊，她还是和他一起相拥而眠。 Seth Brundle (Jeff Goldblum), a brilliant but eccentric scientist attempts to woo investigative journalist Veronica Quaife (Geena Davis) by offering her a scoop on his latest research in the field of matter transportation, which against all the expectations of the scientific establishment have proved successful. 这部电影并不算恐怖，导演对于恐怖氛围的塑造很好，但更多是想通过一些相对恐怖的镜头来表达核心理念，探讨人性的深度。

What the actual fuck!!!很久没有看到过这么让人生理恶心的片子了
真是场悲剧，但我偏爱悲剧
小学时候在亲戚家电脑上看过，所以也算是我的邪典启蒙了，但还是要吐槽一句，女主的恋爱脑程度比片子的cult程度都高。
7.2分，第一次看到这么恶心的内容和画面，还得了个奥斯卡什么最佳视觉效果奖，让我儿时的心灵蒙上了阴影
你以为是科幻片，其实是恐怖片。你以为是恐怖片，其实是爱情片。可是看完后再想想，其中又牵扯了哲学思考，古有庄周梦蝶，今有苍蝇梦人，最后关于家庭三位一体融合的想法也值得深思。
苍蝇和人类的基因融合后逐渐占据了上风，人类的理性逐渐被动物性所替代。
视觉冲击是极致的，人被兽逐渐侵蚀吞没，用最后一点人的意志企盼死去，企盼解脱。
