故事发生在1820年的冬天，一条名为埃塞克斯号的捕鲸船航行在广袤的南太平洋，让所有船员们都没有想到的是，此时的海底，潜伏着一条拥有着高超智商和强烈的复仇意识的鲸鱼，正准备执行它的复仇计划。
很快，捕鲸船就遭到了鲸鱼三番五次的猛烈进攻，脆弱的船身在体型庞大的鲸鱼的撞击下很快就变得支离破碎，船员们伤亡惨重。包括大副欧文（克里斯·海姆斯沃斯 Chris Hemsworth 饰）、船员尼克森（汤姆·赫兰德 Tom Holland 饰）、马修（希里安·墨菲 Cillian Murphy 饰）在内的一群幸存者们挤在小船上，在茫茫大海中漂泊了90天。在这90天里，人间地狱的景象在小船中轮番上演。 In the winter of 1820, the New England whaling ship Essex was assaulted by something no one could believe: a whale of mammoth size and will, and an almost human sense of vengeance. 画面很美，总是想到少年派
没想到还能看到谢尔比兄弟
鲸鱼太太太太太太美了！鲸鱼的镜头应该多一些，刚开始人类屠杀鲸鱼，我真的觉得太不可思议了，那么大的鲸鱼啊，人类是怎么想到自己可以，又真的去做的。不知道真实事件里活下来几个人，我希望只有那个放下鱼叉的人能活，因为其他人也根本还没有醒悟呀！最后关于石油的谈话也很有意思，老水手根本不相信能从地下挖出来石油，他们之前要杀掉鲸鱼，冒着生命危险才能弄到的可以燃烧的油，现在竟然可以从地下挖到，这对于他来说，也太不可思议了。
一直崇尚尊重生物，爱护生态环境，海洋是浩瀚无垠的，他里面生存者至今仍叫不上名字的生物有很多，敬畏生命，也是人类能可持续发展的必要前提
被贪婪蒙蔽双眼的人类！
人类是复杂的，狂妄，贪婪，自私，丑陋，但却也勇敢，有爱，我们终将为自己所做的一切付出代价。有因必有果，但行好事，不枉我们在地球上进行过一场所谓的人生！
对于揭露人性的部分拍的有些平淡了
在这种极端处境下，把人拍得还挺善良的……但谈捕鲸道不道德就算了吧，毕竟只要往这方面一想就会有深深的原罪感，因为我们活着的每一天都是对其他生物的猎杀。带着这样的认知活下去吧，面对这个生态，我们都一样丑恶。
哈哈，看跟原生家庭的伤说再见那本书里推荐的电影，意外看到了锤哥和小蜘蛛，没有读过原著，电影没有多惊艳，但电影色调太好看了吧，不知道那是什么滤镜，而且航拍的小船和大鲸鱼好美啊～人类与自然的题材永远拍不完。。还是做个人吧。。锤哥好帅，但我要小蜘蛛✌️
前期铺垫太长了，后期漂流和流落岛屿时的人性刻画感觉不够生动
