一段人与鬼之间的奇幻故事，将惊悚、鬼怪和爱情元素融为一炉。男孩杰米·马克斯（诺亚·西尔弗 Noah Silver 饰）只在死后才得到人们的关注。他在学校属于孤僻而不引人注意的类型，经常受到霸凌。杰米有个叫亚当（卡梅隆·莫纳汉 Cameron Monaghan 饰）的同学，体育很出色，但生长在单亲家庭，哥哥态度恶劣，因此与杰米同病相怜。亚当的母亲在某一天不幸遭遇了车祸，就在同一天杰米也离奇死亡，尸体就被抛弃在树林后面。

很糟糕，很无聊
原版小说也许讲好了这个故事，但这电影拍的一头雾水，表演有亮点，但是救不了这剧本。

不知到底要讲什么，只是来挑逗观众吗？中间我按了两次暂停，每次10分钟...
没看明白，太深奥了。

因为主角是卡梅伦坚持看完！全程一头雾水，东方鬼故事与西方鬼故事差异太大了，完全不知道要表达啥！要表达珍惜爱，要重视身边人吗？剧情太弱了！营造的氛围不知道要隐晦什么｜………………
