雷电华公司'Falcon' film之一，用钱德勒的剧本作为原型，片子里表现的侧重点很多和主流黑色电影不同，所以看起来更像轻松欢快的侦探剧，而不是从头到尾阴冷贯穿的典型黑片。被改编成电影的文学材料里唯一横跨前，经典，新黑色电影三个时期。
改得比原版好看多了....
