Follows John Shaw, a photojournalist who arrives in Australia and decides to detour into the Outback to photograph cave paintings after meeting a young woman in a small-town bar.
Australia Day, 1971. An American photojournalist, fresh out of Vietnam, drives into the Outback to photograph cave paintings, and finds himself caught up in an unrelenting fight for survival with only a mysterious young woman to help him.
