前秘密特工哈里·科瓦现在成了一名保镖。他的老板叫桑德，是军火控制部门的头目，专门负责制止德国公司向境外非法出售军火。桑德中枪后，科瓦打死了一名袭击者，而此人却是政府特工人员，现在科瓦已经无处可逃，他在狱中差点儿死于非命，他的女儿在替他转送一件重要物证时也被人被害死，而唯一能救他的人就是他以前的同事，而那个人也曾在秘密警察局工作过。科瓦顺着他提供的线索顺藤摸瓜，终于找到了迫害自己、害死女儿的凶手。
Harry Kowa used to be a police officer until he was involved in an extreme shoot out and was dropped. Today he works as a VIP bodyguard for his friend Dr. Sander, a politician currently investigating high-tech exports to the middle east. After Sander tells about his findings - a plant for chemical weapons, code-name 'Tor des Feuers', is being built with the support of German companies - at a conference he gets shot. Kowa reacts too late, but shoots someone aiming at Sander. Sander survives the assault but Kowa gets arrested immediately being told he'd shot an undercover police officer. He soon finds out that things are not what they seem to be. However arrested in a jail-house he can do nothing about it for now.
