在漫长而又乏味的婚姻生活中,佩妮(莱丝利·曼维尔 Lesley Manville 饰)感到自己的人生走入了谷底,收银员的工作让她日复一日重复着同样的动作,身为出租车司机的丈夫菲尔(蒂莫西·斯波 Timothy Spall 饰)则早就已经对妻子的喜怒哀乐无动于衷。女儿瑞秋(Alison Garland 饰)是个替老人打扫卫生的保姆,儿子罗伊(詹姆斯·柯登 James Corden 饰)失业闲赋在家,未来中佩妮觉得自己看不到任何的希望。

All or Nothing is set on a London working-class housing estate over a long weekend, and also tells the stories of a range of Phil and Penny's neighbors, some of whom become involved in the family's lives, and all of whom experience an emotional journey.

最心疼瑞秋小天使……
配乐太满了,但太真实了。
这调调看多了感觉太自怨自艾了,就一群人在一起哭哭啼啼的,嗲死人哦。一想到开始瑞秋在医院扫地的镜头就烦人,太压抑了,结尾处瑞秋也是看着镜头照旧一脸阴郁哦。我还是欢喜小人物快乐生活的通俗主题。
即使看过这么多迈克李,还是会惊叹于他不精写剧本、只由演员自由发挥却还是能将每部戏整合得如此天衣无缝的神奇能力。
活得如丧尸一般的一家人,母亲说教唠叨,父亲无能懦弱,儿子肥胖一无所成只会飙脏话,女儿敏感自卑沉默寡言交不到朋友,灰色调的家庭氛围笼罩下,每个人都毫无生气,死气沉沉,看不到希望。明明是一家人却只会互相抱怨恶语相向,直到儿子差点因心脏病挂掉,他们才重新审视自己和爱人家人,生活已经很操蛋,还有什么比这更操蛋的呢,他们几乎一无所有,失无可失,只剩彼此,也许,从此触底反弹,慢慢好起来,也许依旧如此,毕竟如父亲的自言自语般,人总是要死的,好像一切很要紧,又没那么要紧。

迈克·李家庭剧中的不孝子女们制造了故事中最压抑的一层代际疼痛,平凡工作枯燥婚姻等等都不值一提,被直系血亲完成精神囚禁才是最恐怖的。
