Sisters Liliya and Roza return to their hometown. Liliya has a diploma with honors as a fashion designer and dreams of opening an atelier, and Roza, having failed in modeling school, begs her father for money for a second chance. But the father dies of a heart attack, leaving the family a flower shop and debts that Liliya is forced to deal with. Deputy Mayor Markova has had her eye on the store for a long time and wants to use it for her own purposes, so she offers the girls a lucrative offer. Roza and mom agree to the deal, but Liliya refuses - she cannot betray her father's inheritance. After this, a series of misfortunes befalls the family: from prison to a \"hit\" by bandits.
